The waiting room was comfortable, relaxing and pretty. Being in an older house, it did not feel like a cookie cutter salon you might find in a strip mall...it had character. Both practitioners I had (I had a massage and a pedicure) were experts at making their clients comfortable. No short cuts were taken - both services were extremely thorough and effective....the pedicure was awesome...forget those vibrating pedicure chairs...this was done in a comfy leather recliner. Emmi, the wonderful woman who waxed me, made the experience as awkward-free as possible-which was great. She walked me through the process and said that we could stop at any point if I felt it was too painful or just needed to pause before she moved on to another strip. Even though I lost my way and got quite late for my first ever visit to Pia, the staff were very accommodating. Meagan made me feel comfortable and Emmy was agreeable to do my service even though she had another appointment right after mine. None of the staff members made me feel uncomfortable for being 20 minutes late!
