Silence Your Phone, Please…
Many clients have asked if it’s rude to take calls during their mani-pedi. In a word, yes. Getting your nails done is all about taking time for yourself to relax, unwind and recharge. Taking, or making, phone calls during this time is not only taking away from your down-time but from those getting mani-pedi’s around you as well. My advice, don’t be that person! Simply silence your phone, sit back, relax and enjoy yourself. Unless it’s an emergency, calls can wait. Besides, why would you risk smudging your newly polished mani?
Trust me, this happens all the time! It’s never a problem to ask your nail tech to redo the color if you decide you don’t like the one you choose. The only time it can be a hassle is if there is someone waiting to begin an appointment after yours. If so, just try to speak up ASAP so it doesn't cut into their time. Don’t stress, just take a peak after your tech applies the first coat and if you’re unhappy make it known and give her your second color choice to apply instead. Also, it would be a polite gesture to tip a little extra to show your appreciation for her time if you switch colors mid-mani.
