Why You Should Exfoliate After Waxing

ExfoliateWe already know that waxing is by far one of the top methods for hair removal.  After your first few appointments, you start to notice your hair becoming finer in the applied areas.  However, the way you treat your skin after your waxing appointment is also crucial to the maintenance and care of it.  My best advice to all clients is to always exfoliate.

After the waxing procedure, your dead skin cells tend to build up and trap hairs growing beneath the epidermal layer.  This ultimately causes bumps, clogged pores, and ingrown hairs; which you can't remove unless you tweeze them - and that just hurts! We recommend exfoliation as a prevention.  By exfoliating, you remove the dead skin cells and promote your body to grow new and replenished ones.
