Is there a risk of microneedling causing any adverse effects?

Your skin will most likely turn a bit red/pink after microneedling, and you may have minor pinprick bleeding (known as petrichae). It's also possible that your skin will seem blotchy. Rest assured, this is only a temporary situation!

Your skin may also be a bit puffy and bruising may occur, particularly in regions of thin tissue (such as the delicate skin around the eyes or decolletage).
