Who is an ideal candidate for micropigmentation / microblading?


Before booking your treatment, please ensure you meet the following criteria for your safety and the best possible results:

  • Age 18 or older.
  • Not pregnant or breastfeeding.
  • No history of cold sores, or take an anti-viral supplement 3 days before and after your appointment if you do.
  • Avoid caffeine and alcohol for 48 hours prior to your appointment.
  • Not on prescribed blood thinners.
  • No diabetes or immune disorders.
  • Not taking any immunosuppression medication.
  • No active infections (including UTIs, COVID, or colds).
  • No upcoming surgeries within 4 weeks.
  • Not a regular user of suntan beds.
  • Not currently taking narcotics or controlled substances.
  • Not taking krill oil/fish oil.
  • No undiagnosed/untreated heart conditions.
  • No antibiotics in the past 30 days.
  • No chemical peels, laser treatments, or microneedling in the past 4 weeks.
  • No Accutane use in the past year.
  • No laser resurfacing treatments in the past year.
  • No Botox or filler injections around the procedure area within 4 weeks.
  • No skin disorders on the face (such as eczema or psoriasis).
  • Not actively undergoing chemotherapy or radiation.
  • No retinol use around the procedure area within the past 3 weeks.
