Pia Nano Boost
You have probably heard of microneedling. The Pia Nano Boost uses a completely different approach that gets you into the same family of results without the pain, the redness, or the recovery time.
This is a 50-minute nano infusion treatment at Pia Esthetics Day Spa in South Tampa that delivers Hyaluronic Acid or Salmon DNA serums deep into the skin of your face, neck, and chest using ultra-fine nano-tips. No needles that puncture the dermis, no numbing cream, no downtime. You walk out with noticeably smoother, brighter, and more hydrated skin the same day.
What Is Nano Infusion?
Nano infusion uses a device tipped with hundreds of microscopic nano-pins to create temporary microchannels in the outermost layer of the skin. These channels allow professionally selected serums to absorb at a rate that is dramatically higher than surface application alone.
When you apply a serum at home, most of it sits on top of the skin and evaporates. During nano infusion, serums are driven directly through these channels and into the skin tissue where they can actually work. Studies show absorption rates up to 97 percent higher than topical application.
The result is skin that is genuinely hydrated from within, not just moisturized on the surface.
Nano Infusion vs. Microneedling: What Is the Difference?
People often ask whether nano infusion is the same as microneedling. It is not, and the differences matter.
Microneedling uses longer needles that penetrate into the deeper dermis, creating controlled micro-injuries that trigger collagen remodeling. It produces strong results for acne scars and deep wrinkles, but it is uncomfortable, requires numbing cream, and comes with several days of redness and recovery.
Nano infusion works only on the outermost skin layer. The nano-pins are much finer than microneedling needles and do not cause injury or bleeding. The treatment is painless, produces no significant redness, and has zero downtime. You can go straight back to your day after the appointment.
If your goal is hydration, glow, fine line improvement, and skin maintenance, nano infusion is the more comfortable and more practical choice. If you have deep acne scarring or significant texture concerns, your esthetician can help you decide which approach fits your situation better.
Your Serum Options
The Pia Nano Boost uses one of two targeted serums based on your skin goals.
Hyaluronic Acid draws moisture into the skin and holds it there. It is ideal for dehydrated skin, skin that feels tight or thin, or anyone who wants an immediate plumping and smoothing effect. Results are visible right after the session and continue improving over the following day.
Salmon DNA serum (PDRN) is a regenerative ingredient that supports cellular repair and collagen production. It works well for aging skin, skin with uneven tone or texture, and clients looking for longer-term improvement in skin quality rather than just immediate hydration.
Your esthetician will help you choose the right serum for your skin at the time of your appointment.
LED Light Therapy
The Pia Nano Boost includes LED light therapy alongside the nano infusion. LED works by stimulating the skin's natural processes, calming inflammation, encouraging circulation, and supporting the production of collagen and elastin. It enhances the serum results and leaves the skin looking calmer and more even immediately after the session.
What to Expect
Your appointment runs 50 minutes. The treatment covers your face, neck, and chest. It is painless throughout. Most clients describe the sensation as a light vibration across the skin.
There is no downtime. You can return to your normal routine immediately. Makeup can be applied six to twelve hours after the treatment if needed, though most clients prefer to let the skin breathe for the rest of the day.
Who Is This For?
The Pia Nano Boost is a strong fit if you:
- Want deep hydration and glow without any pain or recovery time
- Have dehydrated, dull, or aging skin that needs more than surface-level moisture
- Are interested in what nano infusion does and want to start with a clean, focused treatment
- Prefer a no-downtime option to microneedling for regular skin maintenance
- Want a face, neck, and chest treatment that delivers visible results in a single session
Good to Know: After Your Treatment
Skip active products like Retinol, AHAs, and Vitamin C serums for 24 hours. The microchannels created during the treatment close within hours, but the skin stays receptive and slightly more sensitive for the rest of the day.
Apply SPF before going outside. Keep skin clean and well moisturized with something gentle.
For best results, most estheticians recommend nano infusion every two to four weeks as a maintenance treatment. The cumulative effect builds noticeably over a series of sessions.
