Deep Pore Rescue
Spot treatments fix the pimple in front of you. The Deep Pore Rescue fixes what keeps making them.
This is an 80-minute detoxifying treatment at Pia Esthetics Day Spa in South Tampa built specifically for congested, breakout-prone skin. It goes deeper than a standard facial, uses more targeted tools, and focuses entirely on clearing out the buildup that causes recurring breakouts, enlarged pores, and that constant feeling that your skin is just never quite clean.
If you have been dealing with the same skin issues for months and nothing seems to work, this is where you start.
What Makes This Treatment Different
Most facials are designed for maintenance. The Deep Pore Rescue is designed for intervention.
It combines five professional modalities in a single 80-minute session, each one chosen specifically because it addresses something that congested skin needs and cannot get from skincare products alone.
Thorough extractions come first. Your esthetician works methodically through congested pores, removing buildup, blackheads, and blockages that have accumulated under the surface. This is not a quick pass. It is a complete clearing, done professionally and precisely so the surrounding skin stays intact.
High-frequency treatment follows. This modality uses an electrical current to kill acne-causing bacteria directly in the skin, reduce existing inflammation, and accelerate the healing of tissue that was disturbed during extractions. It is one of the most effective tools for breakout-prone skin and one that most people have never experienced outside of a professional setting.
LED therapy supports healthy blood flow, calms post-extraction redness, and stimulates the skin's natural repair process. For skin that is inflamed or irritated from chronic breakouts, LED delivers measurable relief without adding any stress to the skin.
Microcurrent technology delivers treatment serums deeper into the skin, past the surface where they would otherwise sit and evaporate. For acne-prone skin this means anti-inflammatory and clearing ingredients actually reach the layers where the problem is forming.
Massage closes the session. After everything the skin has been through during the treatment, this step encourages lymphatic drainage, reduces any remaining puffiness, and leaves your face feeling calm and settled rather than worked over.
What to Expect
Your appointment runs 80 minutes. Plan to arrive with a clean face and no makeup.
The treatment is thorough. Extractions can feel uncomfortable depending on how congested your skin is, but your esthetician works carefully and keeps the process as comfortable as possible. High-frequency treatment feels like a light, warm buzzing sensation. LED is completely painless. The massage at the end feels exactly like it sounds.
Most clients leave with skin that looks visibly clearer and less inflamed than when they walked in. Some redness is normal after extractions and typically fades within a few hours. Over the following days, the skin continues to clear as the high-frequency and LED work finishes doing its job.
Who Is This For?
The Deep Pore Rescue is the right treatment if you:
- Deal with frequent or recurring breakouts that your at-home routine cannot control
- Have enlarged, congested pores that always look full no matter how well you cleanse
- Experience hormonal or cystic acne that flares regularly
- Have tried standard facials and felt like they did not go deep enough
- Want a comprehensive reset for skin that has been struggling for a while
Good to Know: Before and After
Come in with clean skin and no active spot treatments applied. Let your esthetician see your skin as it actually is.
After your treatment, keep the skin clean and minimal. Use a gentle, non-foaming cleanser and a light, non-comedogenic moisturizer. Avoid heavy makeup for 24 hours. Do not apply Retinol, AHAs, or BHAs to the treated areas for at least 48 hours.
Stay out of the sun and apply SPF daily. Freshly treated skin is more vulnerable to UV damage and more prone to post-inflammatory pigmentation if exposed.
How Often Should You Come In?
For active congestion and breakout-prone skin, most estheticians recommend starting with a series of treatments spaced three to four weeks apart. This gives each session time to work and lets the skin respond progressively rather than all at once.
Once the skin is stabilized, many clients transition to monthly maintenance with the Perfecto Facial or Age Smart Facial to keep results in place.
Ask your esthetician what schedule makes sense based on what your skin looks like right now.
