Full Arms Wax
Smooth arms from wrist to shoulder. No shaving, no stubble, no daily upkeep. The Full Arms Wax at Pia Esthetics Day Spa in South Tampa removes hair from the entire arm in about 30 minutes and leaves you with results that last three to four weeks.
It covers everything from the wrist up to the shoulder, excluding the underarms. One appointment, both arms, completely smooth.
Why Wax the Full Arm?
Forearm waxing takes care of the lower arm. Full arm waxing takes care of everything. For clients who deal with significant hair on both the upper and lower arm, or who simply want a complete, uniform result from top to bottom, this is the more practical choice.
Shaving the arms is tedious, grows back quickly, and leaves stubble that shows up within a day or two. Waxing removes hair from the root, which means results last significantly longer and regrowth comes back finer and softer over time. After several appointments, most clients notice that the hair is easier to manage and the time between comfortable visits gets longer.
For anyone who has ever worn a sleeveless top or a swimsuit and been self-conscious about arm hair, waxing is the solution that actually holds.
What to Expect
Your appointment runs about 30 minutes. Your esthetician works efficiently through both arms from the wrist to the shoulder, applying and removing wax section by section. The upper arm tends to be slightly more sensitive than the forearm for most clients, but the process moves quickly and the discomfort is brief and manageable.
Some temporary redness is normal and fades within a few hours. Most clients head directly back to their day after the appointment.
Let your arm hair grow to at least a quarter inch before coming in. That length gives the wax enough to grip for a clean, thorough removal.
Who Is This For?
The Full Arms Wax works for both men and women. It is the right choice if you:
- Have hair on both the upper and lower arm that you want removed together in one visit
- Are self-conscious about arm hair and want a solution that lasts more than a day or two
- Are preparing for a vacation, a beach trip, a wedding, or any occasion where your arms will be on display
- Want to simplify your grooming routine and stop thinking about arm hair entirely
- Have been doing the forearm and are ready to take care of the full arm at once
Good to Know: After Your Full Arm Wax
Your arm skin is freshly exfoliated and more sensitive than usual for the next day or two.
Wear loose-fitting sleeves if you can. Tight fabric creates friction on freshly waxed skin and can cause irritation or small bumps in the hours after your appointment.
Skip active body washes, scrubs, and AHA products on the arms for 48 hours. Your skin does not need additional exfoliation right now.
Apply SPF on your arms before going outside. Tampa sun on freshly waxed skin is a real concern, and protecting the skin after waxing prevents pigmentation and keeps your results looking clean.
Exfoliate gently two to three days before your next appointment. Light exfoliation before your visit keeps the follicles clear and reduces the likelihood of ingrown hairs, especially on the upper arm where hair tends to be coarser.
How Often Should You Come In?
Most clients come back every three to four weeks. Your esthetician can help you figure out the right schedule based on how quickly your hair grows and how smooth you want to stay between visits.
Add It to Any Visit
The Full Arms Wax pairs easily with other body waxing services. Many clients combine it with a leg wax, a bikini wax, or a facial to handle multiple areas in a single visit. Let your esthetician know at booking and they will put the schedule together for you.
