Fingers or Toes Wax
You got the manicure. You got the pedicure. And then you noticed the hair on your knuckles or toes.
The Fingers or Toes Wax at Pia Esthetics Day Spa in South Tampa handles that in about ten minutes. It is the smallest detail that makes the biggest difference when everything else is already looking polished.
Why This Service Exists
Knuckle and toe hair is common. A lot of people have it and most of them quietly wish they did not. It tends to show up most noticeably right after a fresh manicure or pedicure, when everything else on your hands and feet looks clean and the hair stands out more than it normally would.
Waxing removes it from the root, which means results last three to four weeks, and with regular appointments the regrowth tends to come back finer and softer each time. It is a much cleaner and longer-lasting result than trimming or shaving, which either leaves stubble or misses the finer hairs entirely.
What to Expect
Your appointment runs about ten minutes for fingers or toes. Your esthetician applies warm wax precisely to the affected areas and removes it cleanly. The skin on the fingers and toes is thinner than most other areas, so there may be a brief sting, but it fades quickly and the process moves fast.
The result is clean, smooth skin that looks noticeably more refined right after the service, and complements a manicure or pedicure the way only smooth skin can.
Who Is This For?
This service is a good fit for both men and women. It works well if you:
- Have knuckle or toe hair that stands out after a manicure or pedicure
- Want every detail of your hands or feet to look polished and well-groomed
- Are getting ready for an event, a vacation, or any occasion where your hands and feet will be visible
- Want a simple, fast add-on to your existing nail or waxing appointment
- Have tried trimming and found it never gets everything cleanly
Good to Know: After Your Wax
The skin on fingers and toes is thin and more sensitive than most body areas. Keep the freshly waxed skin simple for the rest of the day.
Avoid hand sanitizers and products with alcohol directly on the waxed areas for a few hours. Alcohol can sting on freshly waxed skin and cause unnecessary irritation.
Skip active scrubs and exfoliating products on the fingers and toes for 24 hours. The skin does not need additional exfoliation right now.
If your hands or feet will be in the sun, apply SPF. It is a small area but freshly waxed skin is more reactive to UV than usual.
Add It to Any Visit
The Fingers or Toes Wax is one of the easiest services to add to any appointment at the spa. Many clients add it to a manicure, a pedicure, a leg wax, or any other service they have already booked. It takes ten minutes and finishes the look completely.
The price is $12. It is the most affordable service on the menu and one of the most noticed when it is done.
Let your esthetician know at booking and they will include it in your session.
